Teacher Edward
Teacher Edward, an esteemed baritone from South Korea, is celebrated as both an international opera singer and a dedicated educator. As a member of the K-Pop and classical group Uangelvoice, Edward has toured extensively, performing in over 100 concerts across Europe and the Americas. His dynamic presence in these performances has captivated audiences worldwide.
With a passion for teaching, Teacher Edward dedicated seven years to instructing students in both pop and classical music. He has taught individuals of all ages and nationalities, offering lessons both in person and online. His expertise extends to preparing students for leisure singing as well as for ABRSM exams, auditions, and competitions.
Teacher Edward's operatic career boasts a wide range of notable performances with Singapore Lyric Opera, New Opera Singapore, The Opera People, Opera Holland Park, Welsh National Opera, Hampstead Garden Opera. In addition to his operatic engagements, Teacher Edward has graced the stage at prestigious recitals and festivals. He has performed at the Oxford International Song Festival, and participated in the 2021 Verbier Festival in Switzerland as part of the Atélier Lyrique.
As a competent singer, Teacher Edward has won the Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize, Special Prize for the 1st Antonina Campi Competition, 2018 Osaka International Music Competition, and 2018 Concert Artist Competition in New York.
